This trampolining session was one of the best we have ever had thanks to the 3 fantastic coaches that came from Alton Trampolining club who really respected each and every child’s individual needs. What made this session so inspiring? The instructors brought a member of their trampolining team along who has extra physical needs and he showed the children fantastic routines and somersaults – the children loved watching and were amazed! This was a real opportunity for the children to be inspired and we were so pleased that everyone had this chance! Some of the children had never tried trampolining before and everyone had a go. After bouncing moved into routines some of the children played games on the trampolines where the instructors attempted(?) to put them off balance – the children loved this and their balance skills improved as the session went on. Everyone involved including the GO! staff, instructors and the children had an excellent time! The children took turns really well and enjoyed watching and encouraging each other. When not on the trampolines the children did some art and craft and played basketball and football. It meant that no one got bored while waiting for their turn. Thank you to everyone who came along to this session, we hope to see more of these kind of inspiring opportunities to get the children involved in!
